Are the supermarkets ripping us off?

Inflation is now dropping at its fastest rate for 16 years thanks to falling fuel prices. But despite this the cost of a typical shopping basket leapt to 21.3 per cent in November – adding more than £1,100 a year to family grocery bills. Are the supermarkets ripping us off by not passing on price reductions?

Of course we are still being ripped off so whats new? I went into the shop this week and bought four items and it cost me over a tenner which is ridiculous how is a person meant to live on the benefit I get, its perthetic, I dont smoke, drink, socilise or anything how boring do I sound, well how am I meant to aford it, when we the british public are being ripped off so much. I sypathise with people who actually work for a living, something has to give, so why does it always have to be us?

Course we are. Slimey Brown has been ripping us off since day one. Can`t believe one word he says, only person who thinks he`s done a good job is himself. Wait until he donates all his tax breaks to those on benefits and Mrs and Mrs Sucker has to pay it all back. He never gives anything away unless he finds another devious way of clawing more back.

Become your own 'Cut Price Supermaket' by buying your weekly shop in Aldi, lidl or Netto. Triple the price of everything then sell it at a boot fair and you will still be 50% cheaper than Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury and Waitrose.

Gas, Electricity, Council Tax, Petrol, yes we are been ripped off by this so called government, they say they have no control over the price hikes but yet sit back and do nothing to help protect families like mine who have seen their household bills rise over the last 12 months, oil prices are a hell of a lot lower than 6 months ago, yet the utility companys who was quick to raise prices ans far to slow to lower them, and its only the supermarkets who are pressurising the oil companies to lower petrol prices, GORDon CLOWN OUT for me.
