Inflation is now dropping at its fastest rate for 16 years thanks to falling fuel prices. But despite this the cost of a typical shopping basket leapt to 21.3 per cent in November – adding more than £1,100 a year to family grocery bills. Are the supermarkets ripping us off by not passing on price reductions?
We got sold down the river by thatcher and then by Blair and Brown of course we brits are being ripped off why do you think we are emergrating to get the hell out
Mel from Devon. People need a decent living wage. Not peanuts. People like you do not need to go on Strike. Have you ever worked for the Minimum wage.
All this is nothing new to the Older Generation?? I/WE Remember when we had 240 old pennies in the £ once upon a time. Next day we woke up to the reality we only had 100 NEW PENNIES to the £. In other words the £ lost 140 pence overnight, Fcuking daylight robbery then and nothing has changed, except todays generation think it is their Godgiven Right to everlasting credit?? until this practice ends and the Banks stop lending to people above their means, this fiasco will continue until the COWS COME HOME.
