Inflation is now dropping at its fastest rate for 16 years thanks to falling fuel prices. But despite this the cost of a typical shopping basket leapt to 21.3 per cent in November – adding more than £1,100 a year to family grocery bills. Are the supermarkets ripping us off by not passing on price reductions?
How many times is Maggie gonna get the blame, Flippin ek change the record!!! Anyway its all Ethelred the unreadys fault.
I'm just waiting to see how long it takes for bus fares to start coming back down now that diesel is cheaper - probably longer than I'd have to wait for a bus!
I agree with leaving this country, Thatcher and crew bunch of plumb voiced crimminals. Most did end up in nick ,Archer? just to name one they should have been put against a wall and shot.
if gordon brown reduces vat .supermarkets /shops will put up their prices by the same amount they will benefit not us
It is not the Supermarkets which are ripping us off. It is the constant price hikes caused by a non caring Government. They could reduce Income Tax to alleviate a lot of the concerns families have. They could also lower the amount of TAX which successive Governments have levied against us such as VAT and Service Charges Utilities throw at us on our bills. All this money goes to central government. yet I don't see any MP seeking to lower our taxes and give the good old uk Tax payers a break. We wouldn't expect them too either from all their past history, of messing up our country. This Monetray mess we face presently has NOT OCCURRED BY ACCIDENT. IT HAS BEEN ORCHESTRATED. Those who are responsible know who they are and what a more sinister ploy them are undertaking.
