Are the supermarkets ripping us off?

Inflation is now dropping at its fastest rate for 16 years thanks to falling fuel prices. But despite this the cost of a typical shopping basket leapt to 21.3 per cent in November – adding more than £1,100 a year to family grocery bills. Are the supermarkets ripping us off by not passing on price reductions?

Dont get it me....If a privatised company is going down the pan,why do the governemnt help them out by using taxpayers money?......If I go and put my wages in a fruit machine and loose will the governemnt help me to pay my mortgage etc,Yet thats exactly what they are doing with private shareholder companies,....Sorry but a gamble is a gamble,...I was going to buy shares in the eighties until I realised I could loose a lot of my investment,So I did not bother..........We should not be bailing companies out,we are paying twice, once for the high service costs, and then bailouts,Which I get nothing from....ERR,

People in the uk have been ripped off for years and years and nothing has changed.only big difference now is the mega gap between the national AVERAGE wage and the real national minimum wage. How the politicians really expect a family to survive on the national minimum wage and raise a family is beyond me.We have far to meny politicians and fat cats on huge salaries and millions of workers struggling to make ends meet.Do they give a toss,no way,it's 'IM ALRIGHT JACK STUFF YOU".
