What's a reasonable wage in the UK?

The minimum wage for over 22s in the UK is £5.35 an hour. Do you think this is reasonable? What do you think is a good wage to earn and how hard would you be prepared to work for it? Should 18-21 year olds receive the same minimum wage as over 22s? Why, in the 21st century, do some women still earn less than men for doing the same job?

i am not happy to pay my staff £5.52 per hour for working 12 hrs a day running many of my grocery shops, i would like to pay a lot less but the government brought in min wage which is wrong in my view. £3 per hr is a fair wage for staff
