The United States is to abolish the dollar and adopt the euro, according to a surprise announcement by the US Department of Monetary Policy. What do you think of this controversial move?
Nice one VIRGIN !!!
i hope this is an april fools joke because if it isn'tthen we could quite easily see the world using a currency that isn't very strong and doesn't have a major value compared to the yen the yuan or the won. the western world could find a new superpower emerge from the far east overnight and not have the financial resources to deal with it. plus there is also the cultural aspect to consider the e.u. has gone over to the euro, so whitch country can claim to be truly individual now? the euro may promise to build close ties between europe butat the same time it erodes each countries individulalism. so i hope this is an april fools joke by th u.s.
OK, so its a joke, ye ye ye.
So what kind of sickos, think it is funny that 24million people are now homeless and having to sign for welfare and living in tents. Tent cities all over USA.
These sickos, Murdoch and his number 2 Branson find this humourous.
The dollar will crash and very soon taking lots of your hard earned cash with it...
Now then, they think you are all stupid and ignorant and refer to you as the sheeple.
I will spell it out again. They think this is funny..
It is to them they sold their shares they will be making money from the 24million homeless, they are still profiteering from the misery, yes it is so hysterically funny.
Wake up, cus its all hapenin in 2008. You wouldnt want to be asleep would you now. Gordon Brown sold Parliament to Europe it ceases to exist in 2010 and nobody even knows....
its just so funny, im nearly crying with laughter. Thanks Richard for allowing me to wake a few more sheeple from their slumbers.
Funny ha ha ha
I was relieved to hear about this step. Moving to the Euro makes a lot of sense, but why I was particularly relieved is that I had heard the President wanted to move to the Yen. Although feasible such a move would have left Europe completely isolated.
It is about time for the uk to join the € and realise that the uk future lies with Europe and not with the USA. The Empire is gone and the glory with it. To pretend to be like it was it is not OK, to follow the USA in policing the world is a thing that the uk cannot afford, school, health etc have priority on futile wars. I don’t want to think of what the Irak war is costing, what I know is that when it come to give new drugs to combat cancer etc which have been on the foreign markets for years England is the last to follow, why? To save money of course because the wars have sucked the coffer dry.
