The United States is to abolish the dollar and adopt the euro, according to a surprise announcement by the US Department of Monetary Policy. What do you think of this controversial move?
god help us if the usa takes the euro instead of the dollar then we risk being badly run from washington instead of being badly run from brussells, mind you that is probabley more favourable than being pathetically run from london.

It's fun to see how the Euro is discussed about by people who Don'T actually use it... We Euro-users are very happy with our coins and bills, thank you very much, and it doesn't lead to a "country individualism erosion" (they are national sides on Euro Coins, some people even collect them...)
