US adopts Euro

The United States is to abolish the dollar and adopt the euro, according to a surprise announcement by the US Department of Monetary Policy. What do you think of this controversial move?

    the dollar isnt the most powerful currency, hence why the pound is stronger. think about it.

    It may be April Fool's Day, but the "British" pound derives directly from the Roman "Librae" and the pre-decimalisation system from Charlegmaine's division of 1 pound (weight) of silver into 240 pennies. So I guess that pch is right. We Brits do do as we are told.

    just because its april fools day, doesnt make it any less of a fact that america is changing in a big way. if you had any bit of sense you would be suspicious that we keep talking about this and would find out for yourselves. dont make yourself the fool
