The market is set for a downturn, are you worried about your property value? Are you a first-time buyer struggling to get on the property ladder? Who do you think is to blame for the high cost of housing in the UK? What do you think will happen to the market during 2008?
Not in the least - I think there are too many estate agents and too many property developers who manipulate and cheat and know all the tricks to get their own way at the expense of Jo Public and the environment. There are also too many of these 'home to rent' buyers around who were hoping to make a kill by making someone else pay. The world will be a better place if that lot were brought down a peg or two! I couldn't care a damn if the arse fell out of the whole thing - it would be good to have a purge and get rid of some of the muck!

I remember the late 70's and early 80's, when interest rates got up to about 17, yes 17%. I'm not suggesting that we will go that high again, but now that negative equity and increased interest rates are on the cards, I don't think anyone should be complacent, or even smug... Everything goes in cycles, and we are definitely entering a downward swing. only time will tell how profound it will be...
I've got two properties and two mortgages, the tennants are paying for both. Can't see there's any problem.
