just one more thing tom ive got a home in america so thats why i know their minimum wage and by the way its as cheap as chips to live out there due to the strength of our pound and the comparatively good wages we get here

NO! This is just a political stunt backed by the media. it's a way to get rid of imported labour. after all just 12 months ago we had a major trade shortage. the goverment has finally realised that importing labour has partly drained the uk economy. the construction industry needs to adapt to the current market and start to build affordable housing instead of being driven only on large profits.
on banks- for years thay have been using our hard earned savings to provide loans to people who can't afford them, who then has to pay for their mistakes? us? the banks won't loose out. maybe we should stick our money under the bed again?
To boost the uk Economy is simple. BUY BRITTISH AND SUPPORT BRITTISH INDUSTRY. it is scary how much we rely on imported goods.
Like me you will struggle and you will need to do your homework but if a job is worth doing and all that.
