Credit and debit card fraud has risen by 25% in the last year. Banks say losses amount to £535m. Have you been a victim? Do the government and banks do enough to combat the problem?

Yes...I applied for a loan from "Yes Loans"...and stole money from my account...Litigation beckons.

Yes I've been hit by credit fraud and it all got sorted out too! AND I got all my money back. All praise to the bank for dealing with it as soon as I discovered it and reported it to them.

Sadly yes i was mugged under the heilanmans umbrella in Glasgow they stole ma passport , ma cash and all ma munny then i found out i was too slow to cancel my credit card within 1 hour thye had a plasma tv and video etc at £1200

No, but it was a near miss. Trust your instinct and change your Credit Card number if you have an inkling that someone who has taken a deposit from you might clone the signature for the balance before you have even seen the goods.
