Credit and debit card fraud has risen by 25% in the last year. Banks say losses amount to £535m. Have you been a victim? Do the government and banks do enough to combat the problem?
THE onLY WAY TO STOP THIS IS Don'T USE onE. IF YOU Don'T HAVE THE MonEY IN YOUR BANK ACcount, YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT. ITS THAT SIMPLE.
Yes had my debit card ripped off,by a member of the bank staff based in India,so sold all the details.Took 6 weeks before access any money>Bank did not want me to published details of the fraud.I did,got all money back next day and a payment for hassle.

Yes; a rat of a satellite dealer put a charge through, and went into administration. Sent all the evidence to the huge Banking group concerned who "lost the papers" (quite a common ploy by direct-entrant managers who don't want to get involved. ) Got my money refunded finally, by refusing to deal with anyone lower than the Chairman's personal staff, but what a struggle - so-called line managers do not have the courage of a baa lamb's baby brother. Also had five fraudulent attempts to buy on mail order - at least the Bank detected those, but found it amusing that `i should find such crime disturbing.
No never been hit and never will. Dont have one and never will. Cash is king!!
