Have you been affected by credit card fraud?

Credit and debit card fraud has risen by 25% in the last year. Banks say losses amount to £535m. Have you been a victim? Do the government and banks do enough to combat the problem?

Check your bank statements for amounts being taken without authorisation by a company called on Demand Distribution. They were taking money every month from my account fraudulently. I recommend that you check your account regularly. It was only a small amount but it soon adds up. Beware !!

Not me, but my sister, several years ago you could have a photo credit card. She went to buy a pair of shoes and used her card, she put it back in her bag.only when she went into another shop she felt for her purse to pay with her card and the purse had gone with all her cards. Now this card had her photo on it as a means of verifying who she was.She was away from her house for just 30 minutes when she phone the lost card dept at the bank on the FRI. on Monday the bank rang her up to say her card had been used several times and the fraud dept would speak to her. Well that talk was more of an interrigation. They called 4 times more that week and by the next Friday her card had been used to the tune of £3.500 and when she asked where was it being used they told her it was Tesco filling staion just 3 miles away and on one day it had been used 52 times. You had to sign then as there were no chip and pin but what she could never understand is how the sales girl/boy had not checked the photograph which could have easily proved whoever held the card was not whose photo was on the card.
The bank replaced the money and sent a new card, but my sister is too frightend to use then anymore and they were cut up in millions of pieces.

I must have had my bank card cloned at one point as I keep getting letters from the sharks who call themselves debt collectors. They never listen to what you have to say and never believe you when you tell them you don't have a bank account. This whole country has gone ass up since the introduction of all these foreigners who are brought up with their fingers in someone else's pockets.
