Gordon Brown has just delivered his eleventh and final budget. Are you now better or worse off? Is the budget good for the economy? Do you think it's good for the environment?
im a taxi driver who has to work more and more hours killinbg myself cos of higher price of petrol/insurance road tax just so i can put food on the table for my kids let alone luxuries.a 12 to 14 hour day is the norm for guys like me working 7 days a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bring on the workhouses...... now thats a good idea!!!
Im not poor but every day is a struggle with nothing to look forward to!!!
Brown's final budget was announced on 21st March 2007. This question is therefore 15 months old. Come on Virgin Media, stop dragging stuff out of the archives and use a bit of imagination when coming up with discussion topics.
Some suggestions:
UN response to Zimbabwe problem. (Russia/China vetoes)
Location of Olympic games. (Pollution and Political issues)
Reality TV Shows. Entertainment or voyeurism?
Global warming. Fact or fiction?
Parenting. A dying art?
School meals. Worth the bother?
Cheap booze at supermarkets. Too accessible?
etc.
the fat cats getting fatter and feeding on us
what buget......was there a buget......i missed it, what happened? how much has "gordon the generous", given us this time. obviously he`s dropped the tax on petrol. does gordons missus get a petrol allowance, or does gordon take a spare can or two with him when he fills up, and sneaks her a few gallon....do mp`s partners get their fuel on their mp`s expenses cos they bring them sandwiches to work.....do cats have pubic hair........you`ll never get a straight answer to any of these questions so wild guesses please!
