Are energy companies ripping us off?

The big six energy companies paid out 19% more to their shareholders last year, despite prices rises across the board. As winter approaches, are the energy companies leaving their customers out in the cold?

Joe is a fascist there is not doubt about that. That is why he is trying to convice people that fascism is socialism. He also thinks that workers are all uneducated fools, typical of a fscist p*ick

Miner Joe appears to be advocating the type of 'socialism' that would be championed by Stalin or even by Hitler. It means that you have a very limited if not non existent understanding of what Socialism and Marxism means Joe and you are more attracted to Fascism.

My ideal United Kingdom or Interpretation of a socialist State:
Withdrawal from common Market except for trade only.
State ownership of railways - water - electricity - gas.
Coucil houses compulsory purchased from housing assoc (front for banks and building socs at moment) at a similiar price as to what they bought them plus 10%.
    National Service
Re-opening of coal-mining to produce town gas and smokeless fuel
Re-organisation of local govt ie elected county governor (who brings in his own heads of departments including Chief Constable) 3 elected board members from each county town.(act as go between for residents and governor - although access to governor would a citizens right)
Governor to send his own man to London with power to sack him.
    Death Penalty
Mandatory sentencing in all serious crime and habitual criminals.
Hard labour forming part of a sentence of imprisonment for serious or habitual criminals.
Judges having the power to conscript into Army (As was in the 60's)
    Pensioners:
Average Income (based on minimum wage)
    Free Travel
    Free TV Licence
    Unrestricted NHS Treatment
1 free uk holiay a year (excluding spending money)
    Free rent and Rates
Pay 5% of Water Rates based on accomadation
Pay 50% of average combined fuel bill based on local area prices
To qualify one or both partners must have been in full time employment for a minimum of 40 years (accumalated) - credits issued for genuine period time off due to disability or illness - childbirth.
    Disabled:
Annual Medicals with strict interpretations of disabled (excluding permanant severe disabilies at medical panels descretion)
As above for work years would be credited - excluding disabilities due to drug abuse - alchohol - (self harm - excluding severe mental health cases)
    Unemployed:
    Food Vouchers
Revoked driving licence (unless vehicle costs sponsored by worker)
Revoked TV Licence ( To discourage staying in all day in front of box)
Limited use of free gas and electricity ( set monthly quota to stop abuse)
Apply to DSS for clothes and household goods (Cookers etc every 3 yrs)
Limited use of NHS (Emergencies -Pain and Suffering)
Working credits given to those willing to carry out any form of social duty including street cleaning - social area cleaning - education
The idea is to create a socially acceptable structure that give citizens something to strive for. Discourage proffessional scroungers from making the DSS a way of life. Reward those who are willing to work but have no employer or permanant job to go to. Make crime a past time that you will be punished for if caught. Generally place the British citizen as being first and re-instate a sense of pride into the general population.
Oh what a wonderful thought - most of these things were operational in the sixties before the "Yuppie" and PC brigade and bent MP took a hold in the 70's. Altered laws and created and pushed tolerance as a guise to cover their own incompetance and cluster flux.....

    Tilly in Stoke.
The BNP is just riding the wave of general feelings within the country today. Too many British citizens out of work whilst foreigners invade our shores and keep wages down, British citizens of 3 generations bleeding the social coffers dry - and breeding at an alarming rate of 2:1 as opposed to non state assissted parents. Labour happened to mention this fact last week - but in a more PC and eloquent way of admitting that they had dropped a bollock by making it attractive to be a state vagrant.
NAZI doesnt that stand for National Socialism, similiar to USSR (United Socialist State of Russia) is or wasnt New Labour boasting of being a socialist party?
Hey Ho doesnt things go round in circles - it only means what we want tit to mean - if it fits the slot in.....
