Are we heading for a housing crash?

Are we heading for a housing crash?

House prices have fallen at the fastest rate in 12 years. Is the great housing boom finally over? And are you worried?

No matter what the demand for houses is, if you cant get a mortgage how can u buy a house or flat. The Banking industry is literally falling apart. this is going to have a knock on affect on property prices, especially with the credit crunch and the amount of reprosession happening., also getting a mortgage will not be as cheap as it use to be.

House prices will steady and then increase. There are still far more people wanting to buy than housing stock. As for renting is money down the pan some people are paying more in rent than a Mortgage. If you don't need to sell hang on. Hopefully when prices do rise it will be at a more reasonable rate than in the past, but I doubt it. It will go bonkers again!!!!

the price boom is definately over, i live in the south and a neighour had their house valued at £275,000 but had to accept £210,000 to sell it and a friends house was valued at £345,000 and he had to let it go for £292,000. So the coming RECESSIon is ALREADY BLEEDING HERE .
With regard to the recession ive always said that it would be very bad if we had one now that most of Europe is living in England !!!! I cant believe some of the things that im hearing, ie, if a Polish man lives and works in England he can claim Child Benefits for his kids even if they are still living in bleeding Poland !!!! How can this be right ? The only good news that i have heard lately is that because of the strong Euro some of the immigrants that came over here are now returning home as our cost of living is too high.
Please dont get me wrong because im not a rascist i am a realist, why do we get people coming to our country and doing better than a lot of british people, I know that they work hard but only for the 1st 2 years, just enough time to gain a lot of employment rights. After this ive been told by a few employers that they milk any Sick-Schemes that they have and they know how to exploit them to the extreme.
Now that our country is nearly on its knees why dont we in MASS move to Poland and milk them dry, that is assuming that brits can move there and be entitled to everything that they are here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
