Are we heading for a housing crash?

Are we heading for a housing crash?

House prices have fallen at the fastest rate in 12 years. Is the great housing boom finally over? And are you worried?

JEFF........How true you talk..tv is the biggest propaganda for properties...,Also look in your attick for that one million pound painting....unless your grandmother had a few thousand pounds to spare back in 1930,I dont think you will find one.We are given bull everyday now on tv,spose it makes cheap programmes, cos there is no talent around anymore.Same with second hand markets people there are looking for something that will make them rich, not something they like, that again is due to tv,we have become experts now.

the housing market will not crash .the downturn is simply a way for the government to raise more taxes by way of higher interest rates ,and a windfall .for the lenders .none of fatcats houses has been affected by ,the slump mainly houses below the million mark ,the lower the price the more the drop, mortgage lenders are having a good time .with the interest rate .because a couple of banks went down they have to recover the money from somewhere so lets bang all the prices up and taxes and interest rates. so we still get our bonus say the fatcats.

First Time Buyers....save like crazy now as in approx 2 years you will have the necessary deposit for an all time bargain home at a reasonable repayment rate. But...make the house your home and not an investment. We are a nation of wannabee property moguls lured hook line and sinker by the easy get rich tv programmes broadcast every hour of every day. Greedy speculators after a quick return are the sole reason we cannot afford our own home but we (Non-homeowners) will have the last laugh as their self-proclaimed wealth turns out to be nothing more than the emperors new clothes.
