Should unemployed be forced to work?

Should unemployed be forced to work?

Long-term unemployed people will be forced to accept work placements or lose their benefits, the government has warned. Is this unfair on those who have genuine trouble finding work, or do you think it is necessary to stop work-shy layabouts from sponging off the state?

if unemployed people are forced to work they should be paid a reasonable wage not just their benefit At present unemployed people are treated like criminals and are being expoited.. This will force these people into a life of crime.. Then the tax payer will have to pay £40.000 per person per year to keep people in prison. not good economic sense
