What perks do you get through your job?

Some jobs are just a job, but others bring all kinds of perks to make the daily grind more bearable. Do you happen to get any welcome bonuses because of your job? What's the best thing you've blagged? Or are you unlucky enough not to get any such benefits?.

oh how us brits love to moan...if your not happy in your job, move on!No one forces you to work in these terrible conditions you're all moaning about, go and get a job you enjoy. If you don't like the public, don't work in a shop, and most of all don't moan about it if you do. What a lot of people have to realise is that money is the the be all and end all. Be greatful for your health, your family and friends and the fact that your life can't be that bad because you all have time to sit infront of your pc's and complain.

The ordinary worker on minimum wages in this country has no chance. Most of them get by only just by the skin of their teeth and getting a mortgague is totally out of the question.I dont know why wages cant be set to allow for inflation. If they were then at least you would not find yourself way behind with the cost of living.I get a small bonus each year if the company make enough profit.I still get taxed and have nhs contributions taken out. This really pisses me off cos im paying tax and nhs all year and the bonus i get should be mine.I would not mind if my bonus was 1million or more like a lot of those overpaid CEO's.Thing is us mere mortals on the minimum wage live in the REAL world and the other overpaid rich live in fairyland.Im sure Tony Blair and Gordon Brown live in fairyland otherwise if they had to live in our world there would be one hell of a turnaround.

I've worked for some terrible Companies in the past, but 3 years ago after much praying I got a great job working for a top Car Manufacturer. 25 days Hols, Subsidised Staff Restaurant where the food quite literally excels, BUPA, Yearly Bonuses so far and an average of 3.5% salary increases over the last 3 years, and a new Car each year for about £200 a month all-in, inc Insurance and Road Tax, and a Final Salary Pension Scheme which is reputed to be in the top 5 Co Schemes in the UK, 4 Times Salary Life Insurance. If you're there after 5:30 you're told to go home.Great Offices too. Is this all too good to be true....I think so....but true it is, and if I should ever leave of my own volition my wife will surely shoot me!
