What perks do you get through your job?

Some jobs are just a job, but others bring all kinds of perks to make the daily grind more bearable. Do you happen to get any welcome bonuses because of your job? What's the best thing you've blagged? Or are you unlucky enough not to get any such benefits?.

I can help myself to micropore, needles, theatre greens, alcohol gel, what marvelous perks they are!

As a totally dis-satisfied customer of Virgin Media, I have a far more impoirtant and relevant question. I have now lost count of the outstanding unresolved issues I have with with Virgin Media. My Virgin Media TV service is still faulty and has been since Christmas 2007 - even though they are happy to buill us for channels we don't receive and never have. Virgin Media have completely screwed-up my internet service (again), and Virgin Media have already lost all our email connections on our brand new account . Virgin Media customer services are inconsistent with advice and I have wasted hours, neigh days, trying to get sommething that resembles a satisfactory service, all no avail.
I am still awaiting promised call backs that never arrive and Virgin Media have now sent me several contracts that are all incorrect. However, if I refuse to make payment until one of my crippled services is fixed, I get disconnected with the promise that it will get attended to when I pay.
I have found the engineers that have come to my home have all operated in a most unprofessional manner - dare I say cowboys, and they have removed equipment that they had no right to. They have supplied remote controls that don't match or operate the equipment installed though!
So, my question is, how come they are always on the ball posting these stupid discussion items that seem to be designed purely to create controversy, when the there is a real controversial subject on their doorstep, i.e. Why is the service provided by Virgin Media, continually so poor?
Your input would be appreciated Mr Branson...

Ray from Kent that does not sound like a job at all, it sounds more like being a politician if you replaced the 'flat ' with two houses and 'no pension' with a massive pension you award to yourself.

No perks, just hard work.....that's selfemployment & under this government that also means NO state pension! I bet you didn't kown that, but you still have to pay NAT ins profit or no profit ! Labour governments always assume the selfemployed are stinking rich! most are not & many earn less than a shelf stacker in in a supermarket. They do it because they have something they wish to purse & that is not always wealth, but under Gordon Brown they are fiscally punished for dareing doing so.
