Things you shouldn't say to your boss

All of us have an occasional foot-in-mouth moment, most of us have them at work, and some of us have them when we're talking to our boss.

Tell us what you said - and what happened next.

I fainted at home just as i was about to leave the house for work and when i came to, i felt dizzy and felt like i was going to go again but quickly managed to ring an ambulance. they came and while theyre there i fainted again and when i came to they said that i had had a seizure so they took me to the hospital and it came to light that i had had a severe allergic reaction well eventually i came home and was resting when my boss rang to ask where i was and i told her what happened and she said "well you sound ok to me, when are going back to work", i said i was shocked at her lack of compassion and she was not happy that id said this and put her annoyance in an email which was waiting for me upon my return to work. ever since then she has been giving me a hard time, setting me up, telling lies about me to her line manager, deliberately sabotaging my work, trying to get me the sack basically, well ive been off sick for a couple of months but will have to go back soon, im skint.

We were all having the usual blah, blah discussions at work about diets, weight etc...

The one boss was taking the P out of some of the ladies, so I asked him "so when's it due"? whilst looking at his large round tummy / beer belly.

Lucky for me, he has a good sense of humour and he laughed too :)

I used to work 9-5 during the week and 8.30-12.30 every other saturday. I received a phone call from my mum at 8.30 on saturday morning saying that work was wondering where I was. I got into work asap and explained to the boss that I thought it was Friday... that was the real reason but for some odd thought my boss wasn't impressed! :-(
