After they were famous

He wore baggy pants, danced sideways and told us we couldn't touch this. Scholars still argue over what “this” actually was, but nobody can dispute MC Hammer's impact on hip hop. Unfortunately, he blew his fortune on cars, helicopters and a house decked out with £35,000 worth of mirrors. Having been bankrupted by his own tackiness, he's now best known as a Christian televangelist.

'You Can't Touch This' was a blatant rip off of 'Super Freak' by Rick James.
I don't think Rick got any royalties from it.

    What a crank.

As for what 'you can't touch'...Hammer (as I believe his failed rebrand named him...wow...the originality) appears to be showing the size of what he is referring to...and by the look of things, it was no wonder you couldn't touch it...you'd probably struggle catching a glimspe of it.

I always maintain he had caused some live electrical wiring to come loose from hi TV - and every time he switched it on...ZAPPPPP! So hi wise words were about not touching it.....that or it was just a load of drooling crap.

Now an evangelist eh...yep, looks just like an american evangelist eh.....especially the bling and the ciiiiigarr!
