A TV icon to anyone growing up in the 70s and 80s, Geoffrey was the only non-fluffy animal on Rainbow (we here discount the nightmarishly cheerful Rod, Jane and Freddy). Sadly, there was no treasure at the end of the Rainbow for Geoffrey, who became a shelf stacker and cab driver. He did turn up in Kay and Christie's Amarillo music video, though. Yay!

Doesn't everyone wish for a moment of fame and glory? For some people it lasts a lifetime, for others, unfortunately, it is only 'a moment' but it is good to see that most of them work and have a life. As for Andrew - good luck to him - I wish I could retire as young and leisurely enjoy my life. He was part of a successful band and can now reap the benefits. The public are quick to knock ex-famous people for falling on hard times but I think they are lucky to have experienced fame and riches and I think we should just let them get on with their lives. There, but for the grace of God....
the guys are working and paying taxes, makes a change from all the freeloaders in this country. good luck to them
Who gives a toss get a life lads
TV work was really badly paid back then - well done Geoffrey, just remember, "The last will be first and the first will be last." Theres nothing wrong with doing a hard days work and go on you for working hard instead of sitting about doing nothing like so many others do. GOOD on YOU!!!
