Are women discriminated at work?

According to a new survey, the number of women holding senior jobs in politics, the law and the media has fallen compared with last year.

Are women being discriminated in the workplace and are being denied the chance to rise to the top? Or is this just a case of sour grapes. What do you think?

    Re :Mark from cambridge
Now , now c'mon luv , you havent fooled ANY of us . . . - it's . . . MARY from cambridge. . . . really isn't it. After all you can't possibly be a proper man because you are ashamed to be one.
If however you actually are 'some sort of man' ,then I strongly suggest you try attending a self-development course for men , and you will find out that being ashamed is the absolute LAST thing you should be feeling, whatever those horrible feminasties try to force you to believe , with those misandrist 'books about feminism ' that you mention.
Heres one final piece of wisdom for you as well ; -
To be a man is something to be PROUD of , to be celebrated , and to know that real women of any worth want, need and desire REAL men

People can be ashamed of being what they are for the merest reasons !! Many of the comments on this board are careless and flippant , with no desire by the writer to correct that impression !! They do not represent my views either , as it is clear that they speak for themselves ; but as sure as hell I'm not to be ashamed of myself because of somebody doodling here !! Many things in this once Great country are old fashioned.......respect for others , all forms off etiquette , having a mind that would not contemplate carrying a knife , civility , and the absence of ditherers who , through cosmetic methods , force this society to balance the colour and gender of their accomplaces at their places of work !! That's mighty old fashioned , that is !! The only thing to be ashamed of Mark from Cambridge , is that we have had our old fashioned way of thinking torn from us by political correctness and it's gang of freeloading do-gooders !!

Women arent discriminated against, there are jobs that men are discriminated against but women can get at the drop of her handbag. if a woman doesnt get a job its not because of her sex its because she wasnt good enough for the job. go away and get better and then maybe youd get the better job.

take a look at the woman in the top political jobs, the current lot are extremly poor and take the pee out of stupidity, if they are an example of female talent then we need to reacess the job requirements.
ps The men in this labor (labour) set up are even worse!!!
