Is a New Year detox worth the effort?

January is the favourite time for many people to put themselves on a detox plan and rid themselves of the excesses of Christmas. But is detoxing worth the effort? Do you think it's just another ploy for shops to sell us 'detox kits' or are you a firm believer? Do you have any tips for others on what works for you? Have your say.

i think that dotox is a good thing to do after a binge as your liver can recover ready for the next one

I think anything that helps you to become more healthy is a good thing. Detox diets usually make you drink loads of water and eat more fruit. Not a bad idea after xmas and new year.
