Britons in social housing who aren’t working or actively seeking employment should be kicked out, according to new housing minister Caroline Flint. Do you agree?

GET A JOB, my daughter works full time and the council here in folkestone told her she has enough money to rent, privately, its not the fault of the tenants, its the council who ontly want unemployed people, plus she was told the new block of flats that was built are only for imigrants. believe that, cause its true.........
I think they ought to be made to do/contribute something . I`m an ex council tenant ( had some horrendous health/financial challenges ) . Purchased mine and moved on . It`s now rented to a DSS tenant who has turned it into a TIP whilst she produces ever more offspring by different fathers . There is a rent to mortgage shortfall and I have to subsidise that !! Why should I , who works 18 hrs a day and the state have to pay for someone to stay at home to do whatever they will . Something very wrong here ! Surely she could do SOMETHING ! Also think that once you`ve fallen into the benefit trap it`s very difficult to regain self respect and the work ethic again . OK , the disabled ( not the golden stick brigade ) the old and sick are a different matter , but, if for all intents and purposes you are fit and able , YES , you should be doing SOMETHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Caroline Flint ought to give up her job and housing for a year and only live on the dole, have a crap cv then watch her get a job, I dont think so. Open your eyes woman, live in the real world,if they culd get a job in this time of redundencys then they would

Sold Cars, home Closed business(loss of twenty jobs) NOW IN A COUNCIL(ASSOCATIon HOUSE) and very grateful, were different, but ist not so all of you out there please think befor you comment!
