Britons in social housing who aren’t working or actively seeking employment should be kicked out, according to new housing minister Caroline Flint. Do you agree?

not alot of jobs out there... don`t sling em out on the Streets... get people doing voluntary work put something back into their communities.....
make available all these second and third homes all these mp's have, and the filthy rich!!
Kicking them out is going to make it a hundred times more difficult to find work, nobody will employ them if they are homeless. not only that, but if they have no job how are they supposed to survive on the streets? They'll just end up dying of pneumonia or end up turning to drugs which is just creating more of the problems that the government are supposed to be trying to stop. Giving security to someone like that then just taking it away is rather sadistic and will destroy the lives of many people, it's no wonder there is such a high number of cases of mental illness when this is the governments attitude.
This is just pathetic. Kick them out on the streets and then nobody's going to employ them anyway because they are homeless and most people are going to assume that this is because of drug or alcohol addiction. It won't help, it will just make it a hundred times more difficult for people to find work. Is there any common sense whatsoever in the government these days??
Having a British Heritage, and born in Wales, I think that British people should come first with regard to housing. British people should come first when it comes to providing jobs. The rest of the world have their own countries and peoples and they should look after their own, not rely on the British to put up with them with free hand-outs.
If you are able to work, help others by helping yourself and getting a job.

Should council tenants be forced to get a job?
