Britons in social housing who aren’t working or actively seeking employment should be kicked out, according to new housing minister Caroline Flint. Do you agree?

IF WE WERE FOREIGN THEN WE WILL ALL B HOUSED AND HAVE JOBS
To Albert from Preston. Yes there is something I can do. You're right!
I'm now in the process of starting a web design business, a difficult inside job after spending ten years in the Coldstream Guards!
For me not to do anything is like putting a lift in a bungalow (unheard of).
The other thing about the 'dole' is that I have an army pension and a private pension that keeps me from sponging off the state!!
What about you Albert?
Have you planned for an unexpected illness or retirement??? Bet you haven't!!!
The majority of council tenants in the street where I live are employed. Very few to my knowledge are on benefits. As for myself, I was full-time carer to my sick disabled husband until he passed away at the beginning of February. He was in receipt of disability benefits and I was his dependent. I now find myself in the position of having to look for employment after a gap of 29 years with retirement less than two years away. What chance do I stand and what employer would be interested anyway?
this is old bullcrap and should be removed from the site
wherever you live you should be in gainful or useful employment if you are capable of doing so.If not then you should be making a difference in your community by doing something there.Anyone anywhere fit, capable of being/doing should be,regardless of where you live.

Should council tenants be forced to get a job?
