denture cleaning tablets clean the inside of thermos flasks or hard to reach flower vases.
Gross but true. Human saliva is the best cleaning agent for removing blood stains from fabric. But there is a catch, you can only use your own spit on your own blood. Sorry to disappoint all you mass murderers out there!
washing-up liquid is very good on oil stains.Do not wash the area until youve put some of the liquid on the oil stain, then wash as usual.
I'm a huge fan of Soda Crystals. If you are getting stale water smells from your washing machine or dishwasher, put a cup full of crystals in the empty appliance and run it through a cycle - no more smell!
Soda crystals dissolved in hot water makes a great solution for cleaning the grease build up in your kitchen - particularly on the top of the cabinets that don't get cleaned very often!!!!
Soda Crystals will clean waste pipes and drains. Just pour the soda crystals down the waste pipe then pour boiling water over them.
Works a treat.
You can mix the soda crystals in the boiling water first in you want to.
Obviously this is done for cleaning drains.
I used to also scrub the drain (what's it called - the bit that is put in the drain to stop leaves etc blocking the pipe) and the siides of the drain as far as I could reach. I loved doing this. Loved the "dirty" jobs.
