Brothers and Sisters; we're always happy to help one another. I'm 66; last year I was installing a very expensive kitchen worktop for my brother. I was jig sawing the hole for the sink, I briefly lent on the work top and it snapped in half and just like my heart,it sunk to the ground. Before sawing I had moved the work top and forgot about the supports. Doing my brother a favour cost me seventy quid, I couldn't expect him to pay. Plonker Brain.

Last year my dad was re plastering the bathroom he was bisey scraping away the old plaser from the bricks (this being a house from the 1900 it only had 2 layers of brick) when all of a sudden I heard an all mighty crash. I dashed up stairs the second layer of bricks had collapsed showering my dad and the toilet with bricks luckly none of them where broken so the next day my dad re built it and its better than new no more mold next to the toilet.

    1. How do you stop a door from swinging open. Do you sink the hinges further or pack them.
    2. How to stop a sticking front dor which swells in winter and is ok in summer.
