use dock leaves on boils poor hot water ove leave then put on boil and hover with bandige
lavender essential oil is good for sunburn, burns, cuts and grazes helping the skin to heal without scabbing and irritation. use salt water to clean and sterilize and promote healing of cuts, grazes and operation wounds
I can't recommend toothpaste for a burn - good old water is better, though I suppose if you don't have water but do have toothpaste...
Contrarywise, both bee and wasp stings are both better treated with modern methods; either an antihistamine cream or a hydrocortisone one. Both of these are available over the counter from the pharmacy. If there is a likelyhood of swarming bees, antihistamine tends to be better as the swarm will be attracted to the histamines given off by the body. However, I find that hydrocortisone tends to soothe quicker.
Cut a tomato in half and rub it gently over sunburn leave for a few minutes and wash off.
For wasp stings apply vinegar neat,it will take the soreness away.
Wasp sting:
Last year,when I was in Turkey,I was stung by a wasp on my face.A waitress brought a garlic clove,cut it in half and put the cut side on the sore area.After 5 minutes,the swelling had gone and I had no pain.Amazing!
