    the best way to get rid of hiccups is to ask them to tell you a really embarrissingly moment they had. so not only do they go red but you get a good laugh as well. stops hiccups everytime. For cold sores use toothpaste as it dries out the blisters not to be used if trying to woo someone.

    the best method i have used is to drink a glass of water but im sure all these methods i will definitly giv it a go

    For hiccups, get ice cube and a towel. Wrap the towel around the sufferers neck like a bib, or a barbers cover. Then rub the throat area (on men, the adams apple) for a minute or two. The hiccups will stop. Apparently, tthe cold interrupts the signal between the brain and the diaphragm, thus stopping the hiccups! I've tried it on numerous occasions, and it has never yet let me down. Go on - give it a try!
