Have you had to suffer with a noisy neighbour? What did you do about it? Share your stories here...
I have been having problems with my upstairs neighbours since November last year while I was pregnant with loud banging have been to mediation twice where they have basically pretended that nothing has happened also had noise monitors put in but they heard the people coming round to put them in as the sound proofing is that bad, it hasn't got any better since my baby is born, feel the only solution is to move, if I complain the noise seems to get worse.
Unfortunately noisy people do not hear noise and the majority of dog owners are selfish. I have had problems with a neighbour who had a lage dog which would bark at fresh air. This would wake me in the early hours as if it was in the same room. Unforunately you beome tuned into it listening for the noise. Although i spoke to the neighbour on several occassions it was to no avail. In the end I made a complaint with the local authority and I let my neighbours know that it was as i needed to assert my self and be in control. I made them see sense and that I meant business, in that if the noise did not stop we would be going to court. Thankfully they saw sense and the noise is no more
Oh and did I mention my baby was 3 weeks old and the neighbor knew of this..but yet the council did nothign to remove the stereo etc. It's disgusting isn't it
Noisy music 4 nights a week, arguing and loud singing. Filed complaints to the council several times including forms. Nothing was done until she moved out earlier this year because of her not being able to payign rent due to job loss. They don't take the stereos away that's a lie.
In a previous house, I lived opposite a bloke who did up cars in the front of his small terraced house, he had 8 cars, there was oil all over the place and the constant hum of engines.
