Are designer babies ok?
Does the idea of designer babies scare you? Is there anything wrong with making sure your baby is born with all the possible advantages? Or maybe you think that nature shouldn't be tampered with. Have your say...

When I was pregnant with my first baby, I used to sit and imagine what it would look like (didn't want to know the sex) I pictured myself with this perfect little Rosy-cheeked, plump little bundle with glossy brown curls and blue eyes. I got a long thin skinny little girl with toes so tiny they looked like little maggots, her hair was red! (from my mums side of the family, both me and my husband have dark brown hair) but she did have blue eyes (and still does) she was totally different to what I imagined I would haveand far far more beautiful than I could ever have designed myself! Designer babies?..... No thankyou!

?I think the only time for this would be if the gene pool in a family DNA strain is corrupted and would leave a male / female severley disabled or to stop a defective gene from being passed over if this is a possablility by the looks of it,it is.No one should be playing God ..only god can do that.Are designer babies ok?No -

What ever happened to letting nature take it's course?
What next, you get to decide not only the sex of your child, but its race too, colour of it's eyes and hair?
And who's to say that because you think you've made the baby of your dreams, it won't be a little hell raiser anyway eh?!
