A new test available on the Internet allows parents to tell the sex of their baby at just six weeks old, as apposed to the previous 20 weeks. Would you want to know the sex of your child at such an early age? Is this a good idea?
It doesnt matter what sex the baby is, as long as it's healthy, although I asked straight away at the second scans with my first 2 (both girls) what I was having. Its just handy to be prepared so you know what toys and what colour clothes to buy, and I've never liked surprises! I'm 14 weeks pregnant with number 3, and will definitely be finding out what it is. And no, I'm not neccessarily hoping for a boy this time, although my partner is! My sister has just had a baby boy, and she didnt want to know the sex until he was born. I thought she was mad. It would drive me bonkers not knowing for the whole 9 months!
It doesn't really matter does it ?
As long that the child is healthy and big !
I have one of each now and didn't know the sex of any of them nor did I have the desire to! and will not with any future children it does not matter one way or the other to me! you get what you're given and should be overwhelmed with the results!
I found out at 14 weeks I think it was, I could not wait I just had to know! It nice to call the bump him instead of it, and get a little prepared, however I still bought white and decorated in pastel colours just in case they were wrong. I do think six weeks is a little early incase of miscarrage etc. I was also told that the they may not tell us the *** because of the Asian preference, but the lady doing the scan asked us and we said Yes Please.
I found out the sex of both my children (both girls) as I felt that if I knew, I would be better prepared. Such as I was able to paint their rooms in girly colours and buy girls clothes in advance before I became too big to do anything. I love both my girls with all my heart and would never consider an abortion due to the child not being the sex that I wanted.
