Should women breastfeed in public?

Do you feel comfortable breastfeeding in public? Have you had any negative or positive experiences? Is there a way of making mums feel more relaxed about feeding their child?

personally i cannot see why anyone would need to complain about a woman feeding in public, its totally natural and its not like she has her breast out for everyone to see, breast feeding in public should be your choice and your right is you wish to do so.

Sometimes you just have to when there are no facilities around for you to hide away - mothers with babies still have to carry on their daily chores (which includes doing the shopping) and so when a baby needs to be fed, that is priority. Breast is best and much quicker to offer a screaming baby than messing around with formula!

of course women should breastfeed in public,if people are offended by it then they should go elsewhere! breastfeeding is a perfectly natural thing to do.

Why not? It's the most natural thing in the world to do. Look at the pic, can you see anything? No.
Leave Mum's be to feed their babies in peace.
