It's becoming more and more common for children to have body piercings - from ears to bellybuttons.
Have you let your child have any part of their body pierced? How young is too young for children to have "body art"?

I don't think parents should get their babies ears pierced etc for a start... i think they should wait until the child is old enough to make their own decision and want it for themselves.
I was around 10 when i had my ears pierced (and i'm so thankful that my mum let me choose for myself and didn't choose for me when i couldn't say no!)
I was 11 when i had my 2nd ear piercing (top ear) and 13 when i had my belly button pierced (which now i personally think is too young for other children - but i didn't back then when it was me lol!)
I Think wit ear peircing down to the child. I hate seeing babie with peircings I have heard babys scream and it upsets me. As a baby could understand the pain they are in. Belly buttons noses 15-16yrs as by then school is coming to a end and won,t affect them doing pe ect.
tommy murry, so who's twisting your arm to read it?
O & K, havent you got any homework to do?
Children are like pets when it comes to piercings. Sometimes a pup will look good with a bar through the nose but sometimes fashion suggests it would be a bad idea, tacky lets say. The thing you always have to think about is "Is my child ugly?" The answer to this though may or may not aid you in the decision to pierce the baby. Will it make the ugly baby beautiful? Will it make the beautiful baby ugly? Will the dogs body reject the metal? These are all questions i can't answer.
Thanks
