   i had my daughters done at 8 months she wore v.small studs till school then i removed them so she only wears them in school hols if she wants...had no problems with her ears i myself had mine done at 15 month with no probs ..my daughter didnt cry when she had hers done she was more interested in the lolly waved in front of her!

   I like to think that my mother was responsible enough, however, she shouldn't have given in to my pleas as a five year old to have mine done. I was not old enough to make the decision and although I am not paranoid about it my ear is a mess. It ripped out in bed (with small sleepers), about two years later. The hole on the opposite side, now that I have grown is also in the wrong place (too near the edge of the ear). I guess it was my own fault for mythering, but now I have no room for earrings which I would really like.

   My grandaughter has a tattoo done before she was 16, and now she is older it has faded and spread with her growing body and looks awful.

   I am 30 and had my ears done first time as a baby 2nd at 8 an 3rd at 16, it doesn't bother me that my parents had them done as a baby and 2nd an 3rd where my choice , I've since had eyebrow, nose and bellybutton done and 2 tattoos in my 20's. I also have a daughter now I've decided not to have her ears done till she decides herself to have them done but will warn her it does hurt, as for body piercing she'll have to wait till she's 16 for that, so overall I think ears are ok at any age when the child decides but I don't think its wrong for parents to have babies ears done just not my choice and body piercing never before 16 and tattoo never before 18.

   little girls and ear peircing about two, all my girls have had this done at two, but wore only nice little studs!!!!!!!!!. body peircing, my daughter was pleading with me to get the lobe on her ear pierecd since the age of 13, this was not allowed to be done until she was 16, but she had to pay for it herself, then came the nose stud, ( this i could not sa alot as i have mine done and with the tiniest of gems its fine,) this she paid for herself again.
   then at 16 and a half came the big i want my belly button pierced!!!!!!
   strictly back was the answer not till your 18, and you pay your self, this she did, she now has top and bottom belly button done, and i have to say, it looks quiet nice she is not one to wear short tops and flant it.
