According to research, less than one in a hundred mothers take the advice to breastfeed their child exclusively for the first six months. Do you breastfeed your child? How long did you feed your baby with breast milk before opting for the bottle? What are your reasons for your choices?

I dont now as they are all grown up but did feed my 3 children unfortunatly for me i only managed until they were 3 months then my milk started to dry up but i feel i gave them a good start and i loved the closness but i dont think anyone should be bullied into breast feeding each individual should decide for themselves which way they feed their babies my daughter bottle fed her baby from the start that was her choice
pandora deus. wow oh my god i thought 2 was enough. you must be pretty sore?
I have breast fed all 3 of my children and am still currently breastfeeding my third although she is also having solids from 16 weeks old. Have never given her or my other two formula and love the intimacy and the obvious love they had for me whilst feeding them.
Breast fed all 8 of y children - not an easy thing to do and it does take practice, time and patience.
Yes breast is best but if you can't or won't breast feed that's entirely your choice and you shouldn't be condemned for it
Although breast feeding is for me I understand it is not for everyone. I do think mothers feel pressured both to feed by breast and by bottle. So many people have their opinions an input new mothers don't always know which way to turn. All I can say is give it a good go. Unless you actually try it you can't really say it's not for me. You could be surprised. I was.
