According to research, less than one in a hundred mothers take the advice to breastfeed their child exclusively for the first six months. Do you breastfeed your child? How long did you feed your baby with breast milk before opting for the bottle? What are your reasons for your choices?

I did not feed my twins myself they were my first, although i did feed my next 4 children until they were one and over, if i knew then what i knew now i would have at least had a go at it. It is the most wonderful feeling in the world, i am going to be very sad when my daughter who is 11 months stops feeding.
I just couldnt imagine feeding a baby any other way, its ready prepared, convenient, and ten times easier
I breastfed my first for six months and my second for only 6 weeks, I had loads of support for my first but with my second it was kinda like heres your baby bye bye, am now expecting my third and am going to breast feed again, I now know better and will demand any support I need
I breastfed both of my children until 8 months when I had to return to work. I feel guilty that I had to stop breastfeeding and I personally would feel ashamed to bottle feed in public. Not because it's wrong I say each to their own but for me personally it's not right. It's so easy to breastfeed and free and it's the best feeling in the world to think that you are all your baby needs and wants. I do think it was harder for my husband though but I would of done it for as long as my babies wanted if I didn't have to go back to work.
Oh I forgot to say, did anyone elses toes curl everytime they latched on. Mine did, not sexual, just fab!. My kids are in their 30's now. Still bonded. Best start in Life.
