I would crave for fish-Tuna with sugar for breakfast and lunch and salmon or Sardines with melted cheese for tea. The only problem with this it always made my poop smell a lot worse.

When a woman is pregnant she is in an enhanced state and is much more in tune with her instinct. The instinct knows what the body needs and it knows which foods can supply it. The foods may taste strange but they are just what that individual body needs. If we could all listen more to our instinct we would each eat better and wouldn't get fat. But have we been trained to listen?

i see the ever ignorant dr. mohammed faride as found another board related to womens issues to put his 2 pence worth on. its interesting to note that the so called doctor ( which all of us from the breast feeding board know he's not) , would know if he was a doctor, the cravings in pregnancy have been proven to exist due to the extreme hormonal changes that a woman goes thru which changes her sense of taste and smell, and that some cravings actually do signify a lack of something in her diet. the most common craving in pregnancy is for chocolate, which can signify a lack of iron and b vitamins. also strange cravings for the likes of coal or soap for example can be due to underlying medial issues. so before you claim to be a doctor, faride you might just want to get your facts straight, or in the least read a few books that weren't printed in the middle ages.
