I too craved ice. My Brother mentioned it to a colleague at work and she said that it is a sign that your iron levels are low. Sure enough, before I mentioned it to the Nurse she said my I needed iron tablets. Needless to say the craving then stopped.xx

Faride if your a so called doctor you would know that for example due to low sugar, iron, fibre levels and so on women will crave certain food to regain what they need in there system for herself and baby.
Many women are drawn to high sugared items of food and drink due to the sugar levels dipping durign pregnancy. This happens with other things as I've stated such as women wanting to eat bananas, potato, pasta, red meats, fish, bread, broccolli and more is all due to natures way of getting what you need in your system to be healthy and have the right levels.
Cravings are normal and a pregnant womans body is drawn to food they need like any human being but alot more extreme due to the fact the baby takes a high percentage of the vitamins etc that food offers. You are obviously claiming to be a doctor when you aren't because how could you not know something so simple as that which any doctor would know.
my missus just loved grilled cheese with pickled onions. nearly every night!
