Do you use your online console service to buy add-on packs, new maps and expansions for your existing games? Do you feel it's good value for money or content which should have been in the game originally and is being used to squeeze more money from each game? And what about when downloadable content is released just days after the game launches?
No because games companys do to much already to take our money IE put in cheats so people can finish the game faster get bored then buy the NEW content grrrrrrrr
I bought some for Fallout3 ...they constantly crash if I'd known about special editions with them included I wouldn't have bothered. Doubt I will again
The reason why there's DLC is because people buy it. We pay enough for games as it is but it seems that some people out there are willing to get milked for their money. I've never paid for DLC and never will. And all this talk about Xbox Live doubling in price makes me laugh.
I made the mistake of buying the Oblivion Downloadable Content, then, when the first expansion was released (Knights Of The Nine) I bought that along with all the downloadable content included. I paid for the same files twice :(
I'll not make that mistake again. I'll wait for 'Game Of The Year' editions woth all the content included for onE price.
it is good when new content comes out for games you'd completed and moved on from. But dlc days after release? That's turning into a scandalous rip off.
