8. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii)

It might have been a good year for their bank account, but as far as the critics were concerned this was the worst on record for Nintendo. One of the few exceptions was this, a resolutely hardcore four player beat ‘em-up featuring just about every character the big N has ever milked.

    Super Smash Bros was an excellent series. With Brawl, it became the best game series to me.
