The announcement has been madeā¦The PS3 is launching in the UK on the 23rd March, at a whopping £425!
Game fans, unload your thoughts. Will you opt for the cheaper Wii? Will you get both? Do you think the PS3 is over-priced and over-rated?
We have a feeling this one could run and run...
For online it is far and away the 360
For all round fun it has to be the Wii
in third place (a long way behind) is the PS3 which is great for Blu Ray, but for games..........
ps3s rule im 11 and we have wars at school most people prefer ps3 and i agree they arte just better xbox are stupid(red ring of death)
I have both systems (360 + PS3). The PS3 has become my blue ray player and nothing more as I find that the 360 is better for games, especially when it comes to online gaming.
It does not matter that the PS3 has all those hardware features built into it, as my laptop destroys the PS3 on that front. The 360 is ever so slighlty better on the graphics front too, though newer games the consoles look pretty much identical.
The PS3 has trigger buttons that are convex, so your fingers start slipping off them after a little while. The 360's controllers are definitely better, as the triggers and the analog sticks just have better grip. Trust me, when your hands sweat, this makes a huge difference. PS3 controllers also feel and look like cheap rubbish.
If you are like me and use a console for gaming, then I recommend the 360 hands down; unless you want a medium performance blue ray player to go with the gaming, then go for PS3, or just get both.
WII and 360 WAAAAYYYY better than ps3. The only good thing about the ps3 is the graffics. Theres hardly any games on it and there all bad. WIIs are more fun and 360s are more hardcore. ps3s are WAY over priced and so are its crap games.
