   I've been fortunate enough to play games since about the age of 5 or 6 when The Nintendo Entertainment System first burst onto the scene in the 80's with the most incredible launch game that there has ever been :- Super Mario Bros. I believe that this is the one sole game responsible for not only what is now the most recognised gaming icon ever in Super Mario but also for the incredible gaming industry that we have today. Had this game not been invented, there would be no Super Mario or the Mushroom Kingdom & all its instantly recognisable inhabitants that we know & love today. There might be virtually non of the other gaming franchises that we have come to love either. So my top 5 games/game franchises of all-time are :- 5) The Gears of War Series. 4) The Streetfighter Series. 3) The Mario Kart Series. 2) Super Mario Galaxy & at Number 1, I've just got to put the game here that started it all for anyone who has ever enjoyed a game in their lives :- Super Mario Bros (& all the subsequent Super Mario Games ever since that one) :o)

   For me it HAS to be resident evil 4 for the ps2. i know that the ps2 is ALMOST going extinct by now but this game is the ultimate game ever. with the shoulder aim system, this is a massive step up from the older resident evils in the series. i have played this game through 63 times on ps2, 74 on wii and 17 on gamecube (purely becuase my gamecube broke) and im am still not bored of it. the only reason i prefer the ps2 version is because i prefer the laser sight instead of the crosshair. if sony deside to remake this game for the xbox360 or even ps3 i can guarrantee you it will be up there with the big selling games like modern warfare 2, uncharted 2 and assasins creed 2. This goes to show that ps2 is no lower ability console than the xbox or ps3. the ps2 isnt done and dead yet, with games like re4 ps2 days are far from over

   re4 on ps2 and wii, without a doubt, i must have played through it 50 times and i'm still not bored, part from that, has to be cod4 for online play
