top of the range pc's have always been ahead of consoles. theres alot more possibilities with pc games too, though consoles hav caught up slighty with the ability to play online, but personally i think it was a bad move for consoles. they were always better as old skool stand alone gaming machines...i think microsoft and sony trying to compete with pc's too much has lost them some appeal. the move nintendo have made with the wii though is good as you can see by how many they have sold compared.
The PC has some classic, yet unfortunately forgotten titles such as StarCraft, Fallout 1 and Fallout 2. There looks to be some fantastic games coming this year, which means I shall be short of cash, such as StarCraft 2, Fallout 3 (although it isn't looking very Fallouty) and Warhammer online: Age of Reckoning. Alas, many gamers these days are blinded to real games by their small brains, and think that Graphics are the only thing that makes a game real. It is a shame and should be rectified. Not a lot of people play Team Fortress 2 either, which is a shame because it is fantastic.
I personally prefer the comfort of my updated PC/Graphics Card to Updated/Consoles/TV
Something to do with the "oneness" of the gremlins XP/Vista encountered to provide unpredictability to the quests of New Age Gamers who face dilemmas from every angle and eventually achieve harmony when the Troubleshooting dies down to create the perfect Game.

on the people who are still alive
With the quality of even fairly cheap PC's now, I think consoles have had their day. Anyway, I'm off to play Rome: Total War on my PC.
Ciao.
