Games are so politicised and you're always forking out for upgrades whether console or otherwise.

So the graphics are great but you can still only print the same letter today that you did in 1982.

They depreciate worse than cars it's junk 3 months after you bought it.

I'd rather have one pc you can add bits to not loads of pc's that bits fall off.

They never hit a plateau and leave more people dissatisfied than not.

The onLY problem with the PC (for developers) is the different architechture in each machine... every PC is different where all consoles are the same (internally that is) all PS3's are the same - you get the idea?

However the over-riding problem for all platforms both PC and Console is this - The pure and simple fact that game developers are lazy, idle and completely prepared to do as little as possible to make the games they produce truly stunning and actually USE any of the hardware they are written for... Also on the PC side of things graphics / processor technology already outperforms the consoles hands down - and this creates a problem as developers get lazier they have more memory / hd storage space / bluray space to be lazy in and NOT USE to the full potential of the machine you own... so I think we all suffer without realising it...

If you are a true gamer then whatever machine you own is the best one for you!!

I like my PC games, especially the once on a scale like Guild Wars, but I also don't agree with those constant upgrades you need, their a pain.
Most games work on a 32 or 64mb gfx card, but Neverwinter Nights 2 actually requires a 256mb gfx card or it wouldn't let you play the game at all...that really sucks and not in a good way.
I do happen to have a 256 gfx, but it makes me wonder if the next game I want may requires a 512mb GFX card....games can end up very expensive for the computer in the long run. For the first ever game I bought for the computer I ended up rebuilding the machine, because I couldn't get it to work...lol

The main problem i have with useing a pc for games is you constantly need to upgrade your pc!with a console you pay for the machine and thats all you need ,all you have to worry about is what games to get!
