Should everyone be on the DNA database?

A senior judge has claimed that every UK citizen and even visitors to the UK should be registered on the national DNA database, whether they are guilty of committing a crime or not.

Do you think such a move is essential to help combat crime, or is it just one step closer to Orwell's Britain? Have your say.
