The International Whaling Commission, an organisation formed of 80 countries, meets this week to debate whether the 12-year ban on commercial whale hunting should be lifted. Would you support such a move or do you believe that all forms of whale hunting should be banned? Share your thoughts.
is this civilisation cruel sea.. man is doing what he knows he should not do ..
thoes japs need to pull their heads out their you know what. use your recources to find an alternate source. if they spent as much efforts searching for alternate recources they do continuing to kill whales they might be suprised with the results. GO TEAM AMERICA
The 12 year ban on whaling is a total farce, the japanese and the norwegians have ignored it. There is no real political will to police it or stop it. The japanese will eat anything in the sea, including slugs and starfish. But then, these are people who believe that they will increase their waning virility by eating a tigers genitals. they have no compassion for living creatures, they have no eye for the beauty and grace of whales. All of which I find strange coming from a land which vernerates mountains, tree`s, rivers, art, poetry etc. It is time the world stood up to this. Maybe the greenies should stop worrying about climate change (a myth) and concentrate on this
it is a digusting sadistic cruel and vile practice,as for the excuse this is for research ,its so blatant a lie its insulting.
of course
